LOCATION

Almost all our drifting events take place at a unique location. Namely the ATP test track in Papenburg, Germany. Just across the border and almost on the A31, is a huge test facility that we have been given permission to use. We're only renting a small part of this large complex. You can experience for yourself a copy of the famous small circuit of Hockenheim, from the Ameisenkurve to the famous Sachskurve. With its fast turners and very slow pinching bends, every corner is a challenge. It is not a circuit for beginners. A basic knowledge of drifting is definitely required.

It's a very safe location because the crash barriers are very far away from the track. The entire track is located in an enormous gravel pit so the risk of damage is zero.

During all our drift days, unless otherwise stated, the track is continuously kept wet by a large water truck. It runs continuously from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm. Wear and tear on tyres and cars are significantly reduced by keeping the track wet and even cars with less power can drift well.

The paddock has more than enough space for trucks and trailers. Everything is contained in a closed area so no one has to worry about the safety of their belongings.

Given the unique location, we are proud that ATP has contracted us as their only organiser of drift events.

Because we are in a very special location, we have to comply with a number of very strict rules that should anyway be taken for granted.

 

• It is strictly forbidden to bring in any equipment that can be used to make recordings. So, no camera phones and laptops. Security staff of ATP monitor this very closely and if this rule is not observed, it will result in immediate removal from the ATP site. If recordings are made with equipment, a maximum penalty of up to €25,000 is possible.
• It is possible to leave this equipment safely with the gate supervisor.
• Visitors must be at least 18 years old
• There is a complete ban on alcohol throughout the site
• Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas
• Bringing animals is not allowed
